Allen Edmonds Woodlore Men’s 2 Pair Adjustable Cedar Shoe Trees Cedar Shoe, Cedar, Size Large
Not only does Woodlore sell shoe trees, but we also MAKE them! And we’ve proudly been making high-quality aromatic cedar shoe trees in our Port Washington, Wisconsin facility since 1987. Every shoe tree that we make originates from sustainably grown Eastern red cedar trees, cut from the Arkansas and Missouri Ozarks. All cedar wood is not the same, and our cedar is known to be the finest in the world because it is rich with red heartwood. From the heartwood comes ferocious moisture absorption capability and fragrance oils, and these qualities help keep your shoes dry, deodorized and looking great for years to come. We guarantee our products will contain a minimum of 80% red heartwood. Fine sanding in our factory gives every surface a silken finish, and we use only the heaviest gauge brass-plated hardware for extra durability. Such uncompromising standards bring out the lasting beauty of our natural cedar products. In fact, we stand behind our craftsmanship with a lifetime guarantee against mechanical defect. While we take great pride in our products, service is equally important-we’ll do everything we can to make sure you’re completely satisfied-that’s a promise. We also understand the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. That’s why we practice selective cutting which allows aromatic cedar to grow faster than it’s harvested. Plus, our packaging is both recycled and recyclable. Woodlore was launched as a division of Allen Edmonds and began by making cedar shoe trees to protect Allen Edmonds fine leather welted shoes and to mirror their quality. And, to honor our Wisconsin heritage, the manufacturing facility was built just across the road from Allen Edmonds. The company was branded Woodlore so that it could concentrate on creating wooden products for Allen Edmonds, competitive shoe brands and major department stores across the world. We are very proud of Woodlore and how it has grown from its humble beginning as a shoe tree company.

Great price and useful handle pull feature, but build quality is only fair to good. These shoe trees are a mixed bag. The price is exceptional. And the pull tab on the back of the tree is the way all shoe trees should be made–it makes it very easy to compress the spring and pull them out. Other, more expensive (50-75% more) shoe trees have a handle shaped into the wood facing the wrong way, rendering them useless. That said, the quality of workmanship on the Woodlore is not as good as the more expensive ones–which might be expected. But it doesn’t have to be that way. The…
Nice Design but Poor Quality Control These shoe trees were designed to provide good functionality at a reasonable price. However, quality control appears to be lacking. As shown in the picture, one of the shoe trees that I received was damaged. There was no sign of damage to the packaging or indication the defect occurred subsequent to the manufacturing process. The manufacturer (Allen Edmonds) refused to assist me with correction since I purchased the item through Amazon. Since Amazon is only giving me the option to return…
Good trees at a very good price.
