But I purchased the bag in purple for visibility and because it looks so pretty in the image, so I was disappointed to find it is actually a very dark purple (think eggplant) and is hardly distinguishable from black. I noticed some comments about concerns with the plastic clasps that hold the shoulder strap, so that was my only concern. Good news! The manufacturer must have recently changed the clasps, because mine are all metal on both the clasp side and the loop side that the clasp goes into.
