Very solid backpack, I do recommend this for a student. First off very solid 4 stars. This backpack fits my needs as a student perfectly- I keep my laptop (Which is pretty huge) in the specialized compartment, and textbooks in the same pocket outside of that. I can usually fit one or two at a time, depending on the size. I put folders, papers, chargers, etc. in the middle pocket, and then pens and any other supplies I need in the third outermost layer. This is my new favorite backpack!! I love the material and it has been holding up with my 2 inch thick anatomy book, 2 binders ( one is 2″ the other 3″), and my 5 subject notebook. I still have room to place my macbook air in there however, I don’t because the backpack is heavy at this point :). I do place my laptop in the backpack when my anatomy book is not in there.
