Very useful to use with tie downs like Ancra and ratcheting straps! absolutely THEEE coolest thing to use with tie downs. I have some Ancras that I love for the tie downs-but every now and I then I wish one was just a little longer. And, some of the lower hooks in the bed of my truck are flat metal and will tear up the rubber coating on the hooks of my Ancras. (My old ones were really torn up!) This helps keep the rubber intact so it remains useful and they’re easier to work with. Things like a motorcycle-sometimes you can’t get a hook in where you need it…
