This is a well-constructed film, bordering on original. Writer/director Castaneda has offered a tasty smorgasbord of content and characters, the central character, Franklin (Dwayne Bartholomew), is in crisis and sends out an S.O.S. to the universe. The universe responds with some karmic coincidences, and a Life Coach, in the form of a pushy roommate from Australia. It is serious mayhem, in the hands of a deft and skillful director.
