Excellent Packable Backpack TL;DR: Looks nice; packs minutely; as resilient as Theodore Roosevelt. A little pricier than some packable bags, but rated over its wear life, still pretty cheap. Won’t fit a standard rain cover without a little modification, but still exceptionally good.Further Update: More than two years down the line, I still have this thing, and it’s still going strong. I still use it as a dance bag (and as a grocery bag, and as a schlepping-books-around bag, and…), and I now routinely pack it…
Great bag. Not perfect, but close. I recently bought this bag for a trip to Europe. It was used as an in between bag for my larger Timbuk2 carry-on. I used it at the airport, shopping, at the beach, pool, and laundry bag on the return flight. It is lightweight, versatile, packs very small, and is very comfortable (unlike the Sea-to-Summit bags which I also tried out). I only wish it had some water-resistance built in.The bag will not resist water at all, especially if the bag is placed onto a puddle, etc. It will…
