Fits 1 1/4″ max size rod, probably not most wooden rods. But can be altered fairly easily. This fits a 1 1/4″ diameter rod maximum. My wooden rod is 1 1/2″. I didn’t want to bother returning it as I like the rest of it, so I cut the 4 discs to fit the rod with regular scissors. Cut slowly and it works fine. I also added a piece of cotton quilt batting just taped on to the rod to protect it from scratches from my imperfect cutting. 2 layers of fabric scraps would work well too. HORRIFIC smell of chemicals that do not fade away over time I love that the whole bag is clear, thick and strong. Didn’t like that it doesn’t work well with closets without a rod, ie wire shelves, but I was able to adapt it. BUT what I was totally UNABLE to fix was the HORRIFIC smell of chemicals that even after airing out exuded through the closed closet door and filled the room, made me feel sick!
