The best kit you can buy, has long and short axels The best kit because of the low price AND you get both 30mm and 36mm axels. The only problem I had was one kit had 3 short and 1 long axel which was very easy to take care of with the free Amazon return and with the pick up feature it was simple. The bearings are bone dry so use synthetic oil. These bearings are steel ball bearings, Samsonite used plastic sleeve bearings so these are a huge upgrade.The heads of the axels are too large to allow the plastic covers to go back on but…
Perfect fit for the Travel Pro Crew 5 – better than original!! I have had my Travel Pro Crew 5 for nearly 20-yrs and, though travel worn, I still love the bag. On a recent trip, one of the wheels disintegrated during the out bound leg – meaning the rubber separated from the hard plastic core while transferring aircraft in a foreign airport.
