Weather is quite unpredictable in Chicago and most of the times it rains. Its must to carry your umbrella with you most of the time. Getting a tiny umbrella (which fits in bag and light) with wind resistant is really difficult. It’s an average sized umbrella, not too small or short from the handle. I haven’t gotten a chance to try it out in hurricane force winds but we did take it to my daughters baseball game. Works really well to keep the sun out and holds steady in the winds. It is automatic open, which at first is TERRIFYING! if you’re not expecting it. So be warned it is very sudden and not too loud but startling to say the least. Came with its own carrying sleeve made out of the same material as the umbrella…
