The crimson color is a dark heathery maroon, with black accents and gold zippers. The material is a really sturdy & stiff canvas, fully lined (even in the side pockets!). Around the top opening there is some type of boning that keeps the bag fully open, and it stands up really well on it’s own so you can just reach down into it from the top. Both fit my stainless steel water bottle, a front pocket that I use for pens and stuff and a back zipper that opens the main compartment if you donât want to open it from the top.
