Don’t expect much security from this. I use this lock to remain federally compliant with the federal GFSZ laws involving the transportation of guns within 1000 ft of schools (gun in a locked case/bag). Since the law doesn’t specify what type of lock, these low security locks works great for that. Do not use this lock for medium or high security as the cable can be easily cut, you can easily put a shim down the wheels and decode the combo, or you can just shine a flashlight down the side of the wheels to see where the opening gates…
Locked up safe and sound. A couple of initial points about the lock. It is very easy to customize the combination. The dials operate very smoothly. Additionally the lock looks great.All that said, the proof is in the pudding. It easily fit on the zipper of my suitcase. When I checked my bag the agent told me I could have a lock on it.
