The lock has too much play/wiggle for any pelican case. It ends up getting caught with anything and everything quickly damaging your case and the lock. On the very first use one lock did not survive the trip. Is wasnât removed rather it was mangled to the point of failure. The second lock barely held on but to the expense of badly damaging the lock tab on my brand new pelican Air case. I would not ever buy or recommend this lock. Didn’t listen to other reviewers who said these are too cheaply made to be worth the money. They were right. I got one use out of these. Well… I guess it technically was 2 uses since they worked on one flight from San Diego to Oakland, and another flight from Oakland to Salt Lake City. But they did not survive the flight home back to San Diego. When I claimed my case, one of the locks was intact, the other was only the shackle hanging on the case. Not tough at all.
