You had me at merlot I desperately needed a laptop case, and all the others I had seen were ugly and cheap or cute and expensive. I read a bunch of reviews for this case and they’re all pretty accurate. It fits my Asus like a glove. The thick lining makes me feel significantly less paranoid about it breaking. Also the stitching and material itself seem very sturdy. The only reason I’m not giving it 5stars is because it fits the laptop perfectly, but I can’t really fit any charging cables or anything in the pockets…
