The outside feels like a canvas material and the inside has like a soft fleece like material. There is a polyester foam padding that adds protections from scratches and bumps. 4 out of 5 stars I just got this bag today. I was hoping it would be a little larger so I could fit my charger and possibly a book or two, but with my 15.6″ ASUS laptop, there isn’t much room for anything else. The main big pocket is pretty roomy, I might be able to put a thin textbook or notepad and it will be fine (my charger is too bulky though). I like the pockets on both sides, and the one zipper pocket for pens/pencils but when my laptop is in the case, the pockets are pretty tight. I love the color…
