Osprey Packs Farpoint 70 Travel Backpack, Volcanic Grey, Medium/Large
From the streets of Buenos Aires to the foothills of the Andes, Osprey’s Farpoint 70 is ready for anything. Go ahead and fill it up with heavy mountain gear. The LightWire frame suspension transfers the load from harness to hipbelt. A mesh backpanel improves ventilation and the mesh on the harness and hipbelt reduces chafing under load. The entire suspension stows away under a zippered panel creating a sleek silhouette for transport. Unzip the lockable sliders to access the main compartment. Inside there’s a mesh pocket for small items. Dual compression straps keep cargo from shifting during transit. Outside you’ll find a zippered front panel slash pocket to keep you organized and sewn attachment points to lash on extra gear. No matter how much you choose to carry, StraightJacket compression straps stabilize the load. The main Farpoint 70 pack comes with a detachable Farpoint day pack, perfect for use on trips to the local market or to recon your route from the high ridge above base camp.

Carry On Friendly I bought the S/M for my first international trip. I went to Spain for 2 weeks. I’m 5’4″ and it was a comfortable fit. If you are planning to travel, this pack is amazing. If you are planning on any kind of hiking/trekking, this is not the pack for you. After a while of wearing it, your back will sweat profusely. The daypack is great so you can leave your main pack back in your room while you go out and explore a new city. The quality of materials is great and I love that Osprey guarantees…
Great bag, but not much more space than the 55 Bought it along with the 55 a few weeks ago. If you are having trouble deciding between the two and can get this for about the same price as the 55, I’d suggest going with this, as it’s slightly larger in capacity, but as some reviewers on Amazon and elsewhere have already pointed out, you really have to look for that extra 15 liters with this one.Overall,, it’s a great bag! It looks good, it’s light weight enough. It has zippers you can run a TSA-approed or similar lock through…
Great bag at any price. Good size. durable and comfortable Just came back from a month traveling around the riviera/Adriatic/Spain. The bag worked out wonderfully. It was big enough but not over sized. I know the hard corps guys saying anything over 30 litres means you’re over-packing. I have a feeling those were the backpackers we were smelling on the bus. I had a weeks worth of clothes, a jacket and some semi formal type things as well as some food and of course wine. Required proper packing but it all fit easy. Got a bit tight when I was…
