Yup, it fits overhead! So far Iâve only logged three trips with this case. On my first trip I used the carry-on sizing checker at the airport and all good, touches on all four sides, but easily slides in and out.Only issue so far, on the airline side, is on one of my return flights the case was sent to specialty baggage claim rather than general baggage claim. Almost a 5 star I bought this case as well as the Amazon Basics Large case (the similarly sized one, which comes in at about $100 cheaper)Right off the bat, you can tell pelican is successful in making a really great, lightweight case. The Amazon case empty weighs about as much as the air with my camera equipment in it.
