500 pouches with 500 loops Luggage Tag size 2-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (64mm X 108mm) hot thermal (heat activated) clear glossy laminating pouches. 10 mils (250 microns) thick in each flap and sealed on just one edge. These pouches have standard 1/8″ radius rounded corners. Quality meets or exceeds all major brands, but at generic pricing. Special 500 pouches per box packaging includes at least 5 silicone coated laminating “carriers” and 500 clear plastic 6″ luggage tag loops. Maximum card stock size recommended for this pouch is 2-1/4″ x 3-11/16″ (or less) to leave a standard 1/8″ border of clear laminate around 2 sides of card for a secure sealed edge and avoid the slot by 1/8″ too.
TIPS: Industry standard specification for 10 mil laminating pouches is 10 mils on each flap for a total of 20 mils added to your paper sheet. Also, 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (or 25 microns metric). The industry calls these laminating pouches when they are sealed on only one edge instead of three like folders.

Just what I was looking for! Need it to laminate luggage tags and important documents. Very easy to use and sturdy. Perfectly seals. The only reason I did not give it a 5star was because I inserted a 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 pouch on one end which caused the pouch to slightly move sideways and it got stuck!!! Smoke began to come out, The plastic laminate began melting, so I immediately unplugged the machine. I waited for it to cool down and since there was no way to move the roller, I used kitchen…
