Very nice… I bought these to put some of my fancier evening dresses in that I rarely wear. They do a fantastic job of keeping the dresses safe and not dusty while in storage. The side zip is extremely easy to use. I can store 5-6 dresses easily in each one and just unzip it on the side to grab the one I want – no disturbing all the other dresses or knocking them off hangers. I used one of them to store my wedding dress in and it has a 6 foot long train on it. They are made of a good quality plastic…
Horrible smell These were thicker than expected and the bags came in handy during a recent move……however, the noxious odor was overwhelming. I thought that the smell would dissipate a few hours after I opened the package, but the smell lingered and stayed on my clothes for days. I have been airing out garments for over a week and there is still some residual chemical smell. I boxed these bags up to throw away instead of reusing at a later time. I’d rather spend a few extra dollars on natural fabric bags…
I will be returning this item but feel that I should still review it. Primarily I believe the advertisement mislead me to think that I would be receiving four garment bags…The photo for this product shows four garment bags hanging, and the product title includes “(4-pack)”. Also, the product description said the garment bag had reinforced metal grommets. Well, I received ONE garment bag and it did not have any grommets (reinforced, metal, or otherwise).
