A classically designed collection, the Sherpa Element Pet Carrier easily transports your pet safely and comfortably. Perfect for traveling by plane or car, for a trip or just to the vet. Classic tan color with red trim. Patented spring wire frame allows the rear end of the carrier to be pushed down several inches to conform to under-seat requirements. The carrier has mesh panels for ventilation, locking zippers to prevent accidental escapes, luggage tag, padded hand carry strap and includes a seat belt security strap which doubles as a luggage strap. Top and side entry options make it much easier to comfortably load pets in the carrier. A large side zippered pocket can hold your important pet travel documents and anything else your pet may need. A soft, cozy, removable, and machine-washable faux lambskin liner is included. Sherpa replacement liners are also available and sold separately. Approved for use on most major airlines, and included in Sherpa’s Guaranteed On Board program. Available in one size. Carrier measures: 18” L x 11” W x 11” H, for pets up to 16 pounds.
How to Find the Best Fit:
Select the carrier size based on your pet’s measurements first and then by your pet’s weight, making sure not to exceed the maximum weight limits. Allow enough space for your pet to change positions while inside the carrier. Note: the carrier is designed for pets lying down, so your pet may not be able to stand.
How to Measure Your Pet:
For pet’s length, start at the nape of the neck (where the collar falls) and measure to the base of the tail. For height, measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder.

My 14 lb. pooch is happy with it…and so am I. I take my little pooch everywhere. When I say everywhere, I literally mean everywhere. It fit under the seat of the plane and she was happy. It looked like any other bag I have a 6 lb mini poodle. Her legs are long so this was a bit short for her. She fit into it snuggly. There was no room for moving but then I really didn’t want her to and I don’t think she wanted to. It fit under the seat of the plane and she was happy. It looked like any other bag. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was the end with the half way open that still had the mesh one it. Didn’t make any sense. I cut out the mesh so she could poke her head out but still be secured in the bag…
