The Luggage Drop: A Novel
A compelling, heart-wrenching, true to life story about PTSD and suicide, the enduring power of unconditional love — and the struggle to overcome that which consumes us.
Some say we can’t rewrite the ending to our story. Jen challenges that…
Jennifer Stein, a playwright, wife, mother and country girl at heart from the Northwest who moved her family years ago to the Big Apple to work on the production of her first musical, a musical that became a Broadway smash hit that catapulted her into the limelight, has left New York and is driving west again. This time though — she’s alone. And she’s on a mission, a mission to confront the person who left her when she needed her most.
Maura, an empty nester in rural Oklahoma, finds herself in a dilemma. And the choice she is about to make may or may not provide her the answer she’s looking for and could — forever — end her relationship with her estranged daughter.
Heather, Jennifer’s daughter, is unknowingly at the center of it all.
