Slashed in a Crowd, but Thief Did Not Gain Access!!!!! Very Happy Customer!!! Just placed an order for a replacement bag because on a recent trip the original bag was slashed at a crowded nighttime festival. Thankfully, because of the protective mesh layer, the would-be thief was not able to access the contents of the pocket. The knife only cut the outer layer – see photo. Perfect travel purse The best thing about this bag – besides the safety features – is that the inside is just ONE open compartment (with side pockets). Other bags I have tried have two or three separate narrow compartments inside. This means fussing with zippers and trying to remember what items are in which compartment.
