It’s easy to pack when not in use I used this for 3 weeks of walking and hiking in Peru. I had intended to use it crossbody but ended up detaching that strap and simply carrying it on one shoulder. I always carried a water bottle and either a sunglass case or a small video camera in the other pocket. Holds a lot I took this bag on a two-week trip in the Andes. The weather varies so much, I had to dress in layers. This bag carried everything I needed to put in it during a day of sightseeing, e,g. sunglasses, water bottle, fleece top, stuffable down jacket, umbrella, sunscreen, cap.
