I don’t have the dimensions of my previous 22″ bags but this one definitely feels shorter which is good and bad I have been a Travelpro user for 20 years (as an airline crewmwmber) and this Crew 11 seems so much lighter and therefore cheaper. After 4 months the grip on the extend handle is falling apart, the piggy-back bag clip broke and the wheels are starting to squeal at a very high pitch. I don’t have the dimensions of my previous 22″ bags but this one definitely feels shorter which is good and bad. It fits easily in the airplane overhead but it also has less room inside. Piece of junk, never was so dissatisfied with a product as much! The bearings of one wheel broke on the 2nd (!) day. The wheels were about a 1/4 inch smaller and more flimsy than on previous models, so dragging it was already harder. The plastic corner covers were severely scuffed after one (!) flight. Very poor quality.My airline proffesional husband has had the Travel Pro 8 for the past 6 years and we replaced the wheels on that after 3 years and handle broke 2x but it was with 6 years of use and abuse. Not as expendable as earlier versions. I had the Travel Crew 5 22â Suiter for over a decade. I loved that bag for its durability and expandability and compression. I would unzip the bag to full expansion, pack it, then zip it all back down to compress The luggage back to to roller board size. Whatâs finally broke on that bag was the zipper tabs and the wheels. I purchased this luggage because the other comparable options fell short. I have to admit Iâm not all that happy with this new version of the travel pro line. The bag only…
